Airglide took a giant stride into the commercial market this week with a front page photograph and lead article, highlighted as a SPECIAL REPORT in the Commercial Vehicle Workshop November issue.

As an adaptation of the highly successful aviation product, Airglide Ultimate has now awoken the commercial sector to its proven benefits of multi-surface protection on paintwork, glass and metals. As well as brand protecting, Airglide is a dry application that meets environmental criteria and offers fuel saving benefits, reduced maintenance and cleaning.

Our team are now working with truck and logistics companies, bus companies, county councils and fleet factoring organisations to bring the requirements of the industry to the table.

As Airglide grows from strength to strength, come and join the adventure and reap the benefits.

Excerpt from Commercial Vehicle Workshop magazine : Originally developed uniquely for the aviation industry, Airglide was designed to improve the look and fuel economy of aircraft. To date, Airglide has been applied to airplanes big and small with a number of large, well-known fleets now taking up the Airglide benefits.

After seeing success in the aviation world, a modified version of Airglide, which improves UV protection, is now available to the commercial vehicle and automotive markets. Put simply, the products can be applied to both the exterior and interior of any vehicle; but it’s much grander than just a ‘solution’.

Airglide was developed by a UK research company and is produced in the UK by the developers under the Airglide license and trademark. Airglide isn’t a wax or a polish; it is a product which offers a lightweight, protective coating that lasts, if cared for, for a lifetime.

Unlike traditional waxes and polishes which only last a short period of time making reapplication necessary, Airglide uses nano-technology which allows for this permanent coating to be applied to any surface, therefore eliminating the need to wax or polish ever again.

So what is nano-technology? Well, the science behind it is quite simple. If we compare a wax, for example, you will find that it is made up of quite large particles which coat the paintwork but can’t quite fill all the gaps across the surface. In turn, Airglide’s liquid solution is made up of
miniscule particles which, when applied, create an absolutely flat finish. Naturally there are many benefits to having a perfectly smooth surface to your commercial vehicle.

Find out how Airglide Ultimate can help you save money and the environment.
